The Portable Evaporative Cooler by Sharper Image combines the natural, eco-friendly properties of evaporating water with a powerful fan to keep your indoor/outdoor space cool and comfortable. Simply fill the water tank and use the wireless remote to control the air speed, oscillation and humidifier/misting functions. Recommended for rooms up to 250 sq. ft.

• Timer settings: 0.5 hour to 9.5 hours with intervals of 30 minutes each

• Optional: add a few drops of mild citric acid and water into the water tank for 5-10 minutes to remove any dirt in the water tank.

Love this fan!
I love this fan. We use this while we are outside on the patio. It makes it a much more enjoyable time when it's hot. It's also helps to keep the flies at bay.

Most definitely.
You know how hot it is, right. I live in the Southern Appalachia WV. My AC went out in June. I purchase the Sharper Image with mist This fan was such a blessing. I will be purchasing another so I can sit outside and enjoy the view.

We are buying another for our FL home.
This fan is fabulous! It puts out mist but it doesn't make the surrounding area wet and cools the area so well. We use it on our deck AND we use it in our kitchen/family room too because we don't have central air. We purchased this for our home in NY and are ordering another for our FL home!

This is a GREAT ADDITION TO OUR LANAI
We use it on the lanai portion of our pool cage. It is making our area so much more comfortable and we aren't even into the hottest part of the year! I am recommending it to my mother-in-law!!
